Preparations underway for new distribution hub at Gillem complex

Preparations began this week to build another potential distribution center at the former army post near Forest Park,

Developers broke ground Thursday for a 850,000-square foot building that would be used in the future as a distribution hub similar to the one Kroger already has at the former Fort Gillem post. The potential site hasn’t been sold yet, according to officials with Robinson Weeks Partnerships which is overseeing development on the Gillem comple.
