Fulton officer killed on duty to have name added to memorial wall

A Fulton County police officer who was killed last year in the line of duty will have his name added to the Georgia Public Safety Memorial Wall.

Fulton County Police Detective Terence Green, who was killed on March 4 of last year, will have his name added in a ceremony Tuesday at the Georgia Public Safety Memorial Ceremony. Gov. Nathan Deal will be the keynote speaker at the event, at the Georgia Public Safety Training Center in Forsyth.

The Public Safety Memorial Wall was established in 1997 and honors public safety officials who died while on duty in Georgia.

Green worked with the Fulton County Police Department for 22 years. He is survived by his parents and four sons.
