Traffic along the northern Perimeter is likely to get worse before it gets better.

Four mayors from the area said Friday they expect traffic delays from a major construction project at I-285 and Ga. 400, which began last month.

When work is finished in 2020, the I-285/Ga. 400 interchange will be almost as large as Spaghetti Junction, where I-285 and I-85 intersect northeast of Atlanta.
