A new mixed-use development would bring 900 condominiums to Dunwoody if the City Council approves the necessary rezoning.

The Park at Perimeter Center East would also include 500,000 square feet in new office space, 12,000 square feet of retail, green space and mixed-use paths. That would be in addition to 285,000 square feet of offices in three buildings already on the 19.5-acre site. The condo towers could be up to 14 stories tall, and townhomes are also planned.

The location is just north of Interstate 285 and near the Ravinia area off Ashford Dunwoody Road. Dunwoody's City Hall was located there until earlier this year.

The Dunwoody Planning Commission signed off on an earlier version of the Park at Perimeter Center East about a year ago. The old proposal had apartments and additional office space that have since been removed by developer Grubb Properties.

“We envision this mixed-use development to be a haven for residents and employees of the area,” Paul O’Shaughnessy, senior development associate at Grubb, said in a news release. “With multiple access points around the site for pedestrians, bicyclists or even those who want to ride scooters, Park at Perimeter Center East’s past life as parking lots will be quickly forgotten by those connecting with friends and colleagues on the property.”
