An astronomer from Fernbank Science Center and a sixth-grade science teacher from Kitttredge Magnet School will ride with NASA for a closer look at the stars.
Their weeklong mission, in flights about nine miles over Earth aboard a modified 747 jetliner carrying a 100-inch telescope: Rekindle their passion for science and pass it on to future frontier-seekers.
