A charter school with some 500 students could be forced close over student discipline, staff training and other problems.

Macon Charter Academy in Bibb County must answer to issues documented last year.

The Georgia Board of Education will hold the hearing to terminate the school's charter contract on Thursday at 1:00 p.m. (Note: On Monday, the time was moved up by half an hour; last week the hearing was scheduled for 1:30 p.m.) Details here.
