DeKalb Schools: Fixed salary scale to cost $10M more than expected

The DeKalb County Board of Education approved adjustments to its approved salary schedule to address flaws that saw some employees receive 1-cent raises as opposed to hundreds that were expected.

The adjustments will come at a cost: $19.5 million, about $10 million more than expected, and $11.5 million more than originally projected.
