Imagine walking back to your car after running a few errands, only to see that your car had had all four tires stolen.
That’s what happened to one vehicle owner on Thursday morning.
According to WLSTV, Chicago police say a man reported all of his tires stolen from his parked car, which he found propped on bricks.
After calling in the report, the man left a note on the dashboard of the car with the police report number so that ticketing officers would understand why he wasn’t able to move his car during a routine street cleaning.
The officer wrote a ticket anyway and placed it right next to the note with the report number.
