Cobb man killed after truck rolls, pins him
A Cobb County man was killed after a truck rolled onto him.
An Austell man died after a truck he was standing next to rolled onto him and pinned him, Cobb County authorities said.
Gregory L. Goffredo Sr., 53, and a co-worker were standing between two trucks they moved in the 7100 block of Delta Circle when one of the trucks rolled into the other, Cobb County police Sgt. Dana Pierce said.
The truck then rolled onto Goffredo, who died at the scene from his injuries.
Pierce said no charges are expected to be filed.
