A Clarkston domestic dispute spiraled into police confronting a gun-toting man who then killed himself, Channel 2 Action News reported Tuesday.
The unidentified man encountered police and he ran into an apartment complex at Post Oak Drive around 2:45 p.m., authorites said. The man fired at least one shot while inside the building and officers retreated, calling the DeKalb County Police SWAT unit for backup.
The man died from an apparent suicide, police said.
