Two Atlanta firefighters have been placed on administrative leave amid allegations they were involved in “improper conduct,” fire officials told The Atlanta Journal-Constitution.
They declined to say what the alleged incident was, but indicated they take the allegations seriously.
The two firefighters will be on leave pending the investigation’s outcome. The Office of Professional Standards is handling the investigation.
In December, Cherokee County officials fired four firefighters connected to sexual harassment allegations. Two of the accused recently filed a wrongful termination lawsuit against the fire department.
