Cobb police ID man found dead in home after fire
The man found dead after a house fire in Marietta on Tuesday has been identified, Cobb County police said Thursday.
The body of Phillip L. Perry, 55, was found inside a bedroom of his home in the 1900 block of Heritage Green Drive SW, according to authorities.
Firefighters responded to the fire around 10:30 a.m. Tuesday and discovered Perry’s body once the fire was under control.
The case remains under investigation.
