Atlanta-based fast food chain Arby’s will open 50 restaurants in Egypt beginning next year.
The company reached an agreement with Egyptian restaurant operator and promoter of international brands, Vantage Egypt for Tourism and Entertainment, to introduce the Arby’s brand in Egypt.
“We are excited to welcome Vantage Egypt in to the Arby’s family and look forward to working with them,” said Paul Brown, Chief Executive Officer of Arby’s.
Mohammed Halawa, the owner of Vantage Egypt, said his company was determined to make Arby’s successful in the Egyptian market.
Arby’s expansion into the Middle East includes restaurants in Kuwait and Saudi Arabia through its franchisee Kharafi Global.
The expansion follows Arby’s recent acquisition of Buffalo Wild Wings.
