Donald Trump is expected to receive a warm welcome when he arrives in Atlanta to address the National Rifle Association’s annual meeting today.

But when it comes to the gun industry's bottom line, the Republican president has been bad news.

Since Trump was elected in November gun sales have been down. And In Georgia, the number of background checks processed by law enforcement officials for gun carry permits has also declined, The Atlanta Journal-Constitution has found.
