Driving through Norcross this weekend will require a few detours as the city closes S. Peachtree Street and Jones Street 8 a.m. to approx. 4:30 p.m. Saturday for the Deutsche Klassic Car Show.
S. Peachtree Street will be closed between Holcomb Bridge Road and Jones Street. Jones Street will be closed between Thrasher Street and Lawrenceville Street.
The Deutsche Klassic, All-German Autoberfest car show is open to visitors 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. and features 150 classic German automobiles 25 years and older.
Visitors will also enjoy German food, beer, music and more. Proceeds from the event benefit local non-profit Special “K’s.” As a part of the Special Olympics of Georgia, Special “K’s” specialize in competition for kids 8 to 90 years old.
