Q: Please help me find where I can buy a wonderful face moisturizer I’ve been using for many years. Evidently, there are many women also looking for this moisturizer, according to my pharmacist, and the pharmacist at my local Costco. The name is Complex 15 Therapeutic Moisturizing Face Cream, and it is distributed by MSD, a subsidiary of Merck and Co. I was always able to buy it at CVS, Costco or my local independent pharmacy in Decatur, and never paid more than $8 for a tube, which lasted for many weeks. Not being able to locate it at any of these sources, I went on Amazon and found a tube for $100 plus! Please help! What has happened to this wonderful product, where can I find it being sold now? If, by chance, it has been discontinued, is there a product you will suggest that is similar ? Thank you for your help, and I so enjoy reading your column each Sunday. — Nancy D. Davis, Decatur

A: Thank you for reading, Nancy. So, while Complex 15 is now off local shelves, you won’t have to drop a C-note for your favorite moisturizer, which is still available in Canada. You can order Complex 15 daily face cream from well.ca/index.html or by calling 866-640-3800. The good news is that each 100-milliliter tube costs only $9.79 each, not including shipping. And I’ll give you the same advice that I give others looking for a hard-to-find item: If possible, buy as much as you can afford while it’s still available.

Q: There used to be a product I believe was called Jubilee, which was used for cleaning and polishing appliances. It was also great for cleaning and shining metal outdoor furniture. I’ve been looking for it for several years whenever I’m in a store with cleaning products, but haven’t had any luck. — Anita Hart, email

A: Jubilee kitchen wax, is a classic cleaning product that was also used to clean and polish laminate counters way back when. According to the label, Jubilee protects, shines and cleans. The creamy white cleanser has been back for a while, and now you don’t even have to order it online since it’s available locally, at a more reasonable price. You can find the original Jubilee kitchen wax in 15-ounce bottles for $5.99 each at Ace Hardware of Toco Hills, 2983 N. Druid Hills Road, Atlanta, 404-325-8000.

Q: I have some old cassette and video tapes of my children when they were young, but I no longer have a cassette tape player or a VCR. Do you know of a service that will transfer the recordings to CDs? Thank you. — E.P. Miller, Atlanta

A: I have the perfect solution for you. You can take a look at www.nostalgicmedia.com and check out the company’s services that include transferring information from cassette and video tapes to CDs and DVDs. Nostalgic Media, 2250 N. Druid Hills Road, Atlanta, 404-844-3840, has been archiving film, video, photos and slides since 1989. Prices depend on how many tapes you want transferred and onto what medium.

Q: I have been searching for Claire Burke Christmas Memories scented candles locally. Several retailers used to carry this line, I am out now and have called the retailers that used to stock these, however, it seems now they have disappeared. Would love to have these candles again as this wonderful cinnamon fragrance is part of our Christmas. Hope you can bring this fragrance back into our home.
