Metro residents are lining up for a chance to live the rest of their lives on easy street.

The Powerball jackpot for Wednesday’s drawing is  an estimated $430 million to a single annuity winner.

Getting in that neighborhood, though, has long odds. The game has rolled 18 times since June 14 , according to the Georgia Lottery.

It stands to reason, the higher the jackpot the more interest it generates.

Even if you don’t win the big money, there’s still a chance to win enough to establish a college fund, pay off a few bills,  take that dream vacation or move out of your parents’ house.

Two winning tickets worth $50,000 were sold in Tifton and Cedartown in the last Powerball drawing on Saturday. More than  69,000 players in Georgia won more than $332,000 in prizes .
