Christmas concert: The Clark Atlanta University Choirs will present their annual Christmas choral concert at 7:06 p.m. Nov. 29 at First Presbyterian Church. The ensembles, under the leadership of the current conductor, Curtis Everett Powell, will welcome a special guest soprano, Calesta “Callie” Day, who is a native of Atlanta. Free and open to all. Light celebration: Visitors can drive or stroll through a Nativity and light celebration featuring Christian-themed Christmas trees, Christmas carolers, hot chocolate, cookies and gifts for children at Bethel United Methodist Church from 6-8 p.m. Dec. 2-3. Concert for all: Get ready for an evening of soulful music and Shabbat tunes featuring local musicians during Acoustic Shabbat Cafe, which will be held from 7-8 p.m. Dec. 9 at San Francisco Coffee Roasting Company (1192 N. Highland Ave. N.E., Atlanta). The evening will celebrate people of all faiths and backgrounds through live acoustic music, blessings and cheerful songs.
