Creativity week: ArtSpark, a week of artistic activities designed to celebrate and explore the gifts of creativity, will be presented by the First Presbyterian Church of Atlanta Arts Council. Student supplies: This back-to-school supplies and health fair, hosted by West End Church of Christ, serves and supports students from pre-K through college in the West End local community, with special emphasis on attendees from local schools including M. Agnes Jones Elementary, Connally Elementary, Venetian Hills Elementary, Bethune Elementary, Brown Middle School and Washington High School. The event takes place from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. Saturday, July 25. Students will receive a backpack filled with school supplies for the upcoming 2015-2016 school year. Students and their parents will have access to free eye exams, free haircuts, health and wellness community resources, face painting, refreshments and more. Gospel concert: Emmaus Road, a male Southern gospel quartet based in Dalton, will be in concert at Valley Brook Baptist Church at 6 p.m. Sunday, July 26. The group is known for its rendition of traditional Southern gospel songs and hymns including "I'll Fly Away," "I Bowed on My Knees and Cried Holy" and "Low Down the Chariots."
