If you are looking to adopt a furry family member this holiday season, a Thanksgiving promotion will help you save money and help needy pets at the same time.
Zappos, the shoe retailer, has partnered with Best Friends Animal Society to create "Home for the Pawlidayz." Zappos will cover the adoption costs for a cat or dog of your choice from Black Friday through Cyber Monday at any Best Friends Animal Society and partner locations throughout the country.
Zappos will also donate $150 for every pet adopted over the four-day promotion. The proceeds will be donated to Best Friends Animal Society to help more pets in need.
All potential adoptees will have to go through the adoption process required at each rescue. Don’t give a pet as a holiday gift unless you know the person will be a responsible pet owner.
The campaign is using #Pawlidayz on social media.
