Turns out even Atlanta dietitians and nutrition experts are allowed to love Ponce City Market. With a food hall replete with chef-driven restaurants, coffee bars and even a winerythe giant marketplace appeals to tourists and townies alike. And if these two Atlanta nutrition experts are any indication, those in the business of helping people eat healthfully and enjoy the process appreciate Ponce City Market, too.

Caitlin S. Russell MS, RDN, LD, for example, is a Certified LEAP Therapist specializing in chronic inflammatory conditions such as migraine, IBS, fibromyalgia and more.
While she's only visited Ponce City once since it started filling up its Old Fourth Ward location with retail shops and buzz-worthy restaurants, she says she applauds the venue for having fresh foods at every turn.

"I took my two daughters and we had a delightful time there – it seems like there is something for everyone," said Russell, who opted for hot minestrone soup and a kale salad with salmon. "Everything was freshly prepared and delicious."

Naturopathic practitioner Melissa Bennett practices at the The Olive Leaf, which focuses on holistic wellness solutions for such issues as metabolic and hormonal problems and nutritional imbalances.
When she traipses through Ponce City Market, she says she thoroughly enjoys the trendy food selection.
"It reminds me of back in the day when vendors sold their wares and wholesome foods on street corners, although it is inside," she said. "I love the concept of finding Mom and Pop food places side by side, and Ponce exemplifies this concept with the fresh homemade food combinations."
Bennett says her personal favorite is the "kale quencher" from Lucky Lotus Juice Bar. "It satisfies my sweet craving but adds a healthy mix of apple juice, kale, basil and strawberries!"
