Writer/director/actress Angelina Jolie Pitt's new film, "By the Sea," will be released Nov. 13, 2015, according to Universal. (Source: Variety.com)
"By the Sea" is the first film Jolie and Pitt have been in together since "Mr. and Mrs. Smith."
The new film was written and directed by Jolie. In it, Pitt plays an American writer; Jolie plays his wife. They arrive at a seaside resort in France in the 1970s and deal with issues in their marriage.
It is Jolie’s third film as a director.
