About 500,000 people enjoy performances — from traveling Broadway shows to comedies and rock concerts — at Fox Theatre.
And tonight, at "Rodgers & Hammerstein's Cinderella," Fox, which opened in 1929, will celebrate its 50 millionth guest.
One of the lucky guests to tonight’s performance will receive a prize package that includes an overnight stay at Georgian Terrace, a private behind-the-scenes tour of the Fox Theatre, four tickets to Wednesday evening performances of “Elf the Musical,” “Beauty and the Beast,” “The Sound of Music” and “The Wizard of Oz.” The lucky winner tonight will also receive a tiara.
Seats are still available for tonight's performance of Cinderella. Tickets range from $30.00 - $135.00 (plus applicable fees) and are on sale at www.FoxTheatre.org, by calling 855-285-8499, or at the Fox Theatre Ticket Office.
Ushers and ticket collectors will be keeping a tally tonight and the guest who is the 50 millionth visitor will be surprised with balloons, a champagne toast and other fanfare as he or she arrives.
