At least three Georgia-based businesses landed on this year’s list of 100 Best Adoption-Friendly Workplaces, according to the Dave Thomas Foundation for Adoption.

They include law firm Alston & Bird (tied for 17th), CNN parent Turner Broadcasting System (tied for 21st) and Columbus-based payments processor Total System Services (tied for 71st).

The list is compiled from analysis of companies that give the most financial reimbursement and paid leave for employees who adopt children. The list is produced by a foundation started by Wendy’s founder Dave Thomas, who was adopted. Wendy’s, which offers up to $25,300 in reimbursements and up to six weeks of paid leave, topped the list. The foundation itself came in 64th.
