Aaron's, the Atlanta-based rent-to-own furniture company, has added the former CEO of Invesco North America to its board.
Hubert L. Harris, Jr. is currently the owner of Harris Plantation, a Walton County cattle, hay and timber business. He was Invesco PLC's chief financial officer and CEO of Invesco Individual Services and Invesco Retirement Services, in addition to Invesco North America.
Harris is also a a trustee for SEI mutual funds and an advisory director for PSA Healthcare, Inc.
In a statement, Aaron's CEO and president Ronald W. Allen said Harris will bring "a considerable history of financial expertise and business management" to the board.
"We believe his addition to our board will add tremendous value and business acumen as we continue to grow Aaron's in exciting directions and head toward new milestones," Allen said in the statement.
