As we reported last week, though admittedly it might have gotten lost in the tumult, Republican presidential candidate Jeb Bush will be in the West Paces Ferry Road area this evening for a $2,700-a-head Atlanta fundraiser.
Bush is coming from Columbia, S.C., where the Washington Post reports thusly:
"The symbols were racist," he told workers at a pharmaceutical manufacturing plant here. "If you're trying to lean forward rather than live in the past, you want to eliminate the barriers that create disagreements."
Other than the Buckhead fundraiser, we’re told that Bush has no other meetings here. A quick glance at the host committee will show you the links with Mitt Romney’s 2012 organization;
