Georgia — along with most the rest of the South — is one of the most obese states in America.

Just over a third of Georgians are obese, ranking No. 19 nationwide. Obesity rates in other Southern states are even worse. Arkansas ranks No. 1 at roughly 36 percent of its residents obese. It's followed by West Virginia, Mississippi, Louisiana and Alabama.

Now, recently released data from the University of Wisconsin and Robert Wood Johnson Foundation, allows you to explore the obesity rates of Georgia's 159 counties.

Fulton and Cobb counties have the lowest obesity rates at roughly 22 percent. Clayton County, meanwhile, ranks the worst in the state with about 40 percent of its residents being obese.
