"Total War: Atilla." The long-running real-time-strategy series returns with overhauled gameplay, "apocalyptic" destruction mechanics and detailed period technologies and arms. You play as the Western Roman Empire in a quest for territorial domination. Rated M for Mature. $50 for PC and Mac.
"Dead or Alive 5: Last Round." Boasting the largest roster of any "Dead or Alive" game so far, this brawler brings the action to the next-generation consoles. On offer are 300 costumes and lots of customization features. Rated M for Mature, $40 for PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
