A new freeze warning is in effect for North Georgia, according to the National Weather Service.
The new warning that will last until 10 a.m. Thursday could mean “even colder (temperatures) than this morning,” Channel 2 Action News meteorologist Brad Nitz said. “Bring in the pets. Protect exposed pipes.”
The Weather Service said “the freezing temperatures will threaten any sensitive plants or agricultural crops that have budded early due to the unusually warm winter.”
