Charles Barkley had to rant.

The Indiana Pacers were outmatched in their opening playoff loss to the Atlanta Hawks Saturday in Indianapolis. The Eastern Conference's top-ranked team played like "flat wussies" against the under-.500 Hawks, in Sir Charles' estimation.

'Wussies' was not the word Barkley wanted to use on the TNT broadcast, but he found some restraint to avoid the wrath of the Federal Communications Commission.

A minute into his "vent," co-ancher Kenny Smith pipes up, giving the Hawks some credit for the win.

"Shout-out to the Atlanta Hawks for coming to play," Smith yells over the Barkley.

Yes, it's rare Barkley ever calls any one out (sarcasm).

"Come on, man. Y'all better than that!"

He'll have to wait till Tuesday to see how the Pacers (and Hawks) respond.
