Service has been restored at the Hamilton E. Holmes MARTA station, which was evacuated after a CSX train fire near the station.

Officials received a report of an electrical fire about 7:50 a.m. Friday, MARTA spokeswoman Alisa Jackson told The Atlanta Journal-Constitution.

No trains could enter the station while Atlanta firefighters battled the blaze. And a bus bridge was established from the Holmes to West Lake stations, according to a post on MARTA's Twitter page.

Just before 9 a.m., the transit system tweeted: “Normal operations at Holmes Station. Ten minute delay in Blue line service.”

No one was injured, Jackson said.
