All railroad intersections in Olde Town Conyers are expected to be closed until about 4 p.m. Saturday after a train struck a truck stopped on the tracks, according to the Conyers Police department.
The truck was stopped on the tracks at Green Street and West Avenue, according to WSB radio, when it was struck by the freight train around 2 p.m.
The driver of the truck, a 41-year-old man from Covington, was taken to Atlanta Medical Center, police said.
