One woman put her talent on display during a visit to the Lincoln Memorial in Washington, D.C., June 16.
"I'm nervous," Star Swain said before singing "The Star-Spangled Banner" in front of visitors at the memorial.
Her husband, Craig Swain, can be heard encouraging her.
Bystanders stood still and watched Star Swain belt out the anthem while admiring the memorial.
As the mother of two finished the last note, visitors erupted in cheers and applause, some giving her hugs and high fives.
Swain, who is from Macon, Georgia, and lives in Tallahassee, Florida, with her husband, was overwhelmed with gratitude for the thousands of views her video has garnered.
To show her thanks, she uploaded another video to her YouTube channel of her performing a song written by Quincy D. Griffin.
