Time reports that the CPL, as opposed to the PSL (Pumpkin Spice Latte for those non-Starbucks consumers) was tested in a few markets last year.

Starbucks told Huffington Post that the new beverage will be available across the country on Nov. 12, the first time in five years that the company has released a new holiday beverage.

So what can you expect when you take your first sip?  Fox News reported the drink has the flavors of caramelized chestnuts and spices, but it does not have actual chestnuts in it.

A grande CPL will clock in at 330 calories, Fox News reported, 50 calories lighter than PSL.
