What to know now:
1. Hillary to testify: Hillary Clinton will testify before the House Select Committee on Benghazi Thursday. She is expected to answer questions about the State Department's response before and after the Sept. 11. 2012 attacks on the diplomatic mission that killed U.S. Ambassador Christopher Stevens and three others.
2. President to veto defense bill: President Barack Obama says he will veto a defense policy bill Thursday. According to the White House, the president plans to use his veto power because he feels the bill will increase defense spending without increasing domestic spending first.

The endorsement all but gives Ryan -- who laid out his terms for accepting the job earlier this week -- the speakership. 4. Man arrested in road rage death: A man has been arrested in the death of a 4-year-old who was shot and killed near Albuquerque after an incident of road rage. Tony Torrez, 32, confessed to shooting into a pickup truck and killing Lilly Garcia as she was heading home from school.
5. Feeling the earth move: According to a new study by NASA, there's a 99.9 percent chance of an earthquake hitting the greater Los Angeles area in the next three years. The study said a quake of at least 5.0 is a good bet, but a stronger earthquake is certainly possible.
