This round of snake vs. spider goes to the arachnid.
A daddy long legs spider ensnared a large brown snake in Australia, and somehow managed to kill the reptile.
Patrick Lee captured an image of the deadly snake caught in the spider web as he was walking to his shed and shared it on his Facebook page The Aussie Farmer on Feb. 5.
The snake was dead by the time Lees found it, according to Yahoo News. It measured almost a foot long.
"I'd never seen anything like it before," Lees told Yahoo News. "People have this idea that everything in the bush is trying to kill you, but this took it to the next level. I just thought it was a classic Australia moment and had to share it."
