You see it in the mall. You see it when you're out and about in your neighborhood.
"It's amazing to see how they walk down the street and they're trying to hold their pants with one hand and hold something else with the other," one woman said.
Yep. We're talking about those sagging, baggy pants that so many think are cool. To keep up with the Mom and Pop image of his business, the owner of Dreamette on Post Street said: no more. He didn't want to show his face on camera, but tells us the sign is the right way to go. Most of his customers agree.
"For those of us who don't want to see it, I think it's a welcome change," said Felicia Mitchell.
We wanted to know if people take heed to the warning, so we hung around for awhile. We found one guy who decided not to take any chances.
"I'm wearing a belt today. I put it on extra tight as soon as I see the sign," Kurt Hudson said.
Agree or disagree, one thing is for sure: Non-fitting pants are not welcome around Dreamette.
"I raised four boys and I didn't tolerate it. To me, it's a disrespect thing," Mitchell said.
"I don't know if they should be denied service to ice cream. Everybody deserves ice cream, whether you get sagging pants or not," Hudson said.
This sign has been up since the beginning of 2014. The owner said he has no plans to take it down anytime soon. Copyright 2014 Cox Media Group, Inc. All rights reserved. This material may not be published, broadcast, rewritten, or redistributed.
