An embarrassing misprint ended up in a generous donation to an animal rescue group, thanks to the good humor of the Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office.
The Sheriff's official rug had arrived wtih a misprint, with the words "In Dog We Trust" instead of "In God We Trust" emblazoned on the seal.
"It has been brought to our attention, and we're working to fix it," department spokeswomen Cristen Smith told "The New York Daily News."
