Being an elder member of the family is a blessing. The territory comes with infinite wisdom and unquestioned authority.
Whether you have a lot or a little to say, the younger ones in the family will hang on to every word.
For a youngin' named Haden, grandma is the one who talks.
On a card she wrote, "Haden, you are so special to me. I love you + your personality. I can't wait to spend more time with you. I am so proud of you. I talk about you all the time. I love you with all my heart!"
As for grandpa? Well, he feels the same way, too. Literally.
His portion of the card read "same here."
But really, how can you top grandma after that anyway?
