A girl in Nebraska got more than she bargained for during a wild encounter with a Silverback gorilla at a zoo.
The video shows the gorillas moving about calmly in the Henry Doorly Zoo & Aquarium habitat and a girl behind the viewing window pounding on her chest.
Suddenly, one of the gorillas charges at the glass, cracking it and sending spectators fleeing for safety.
Omaha.com contacted the zoo, and a spokeswoman verified that the footage was shot yesterday, but declined to comment on the current status of the exhibit.
The video quickly went viral, generating almost a million page views in a day.
