More than 55,000 pounds of chicken sold by GNP Company are being recalled for contamination with extraneous materials including sand and black soil.
The recalled "Gold'n Plump" and "Just Bare" chicken products include the number P-322 include the USDA mark of inspection and were made June 6 to 9. The source of contamination is currently under investigation.
There have not been any reported adverse reactions because of consuming these products.
These products should be thrown away or returned where they were purchased.
