A $1 million Powerball ticket was sold at Midway Fuel and Shine in Alpharetta. The winning ticket was paid July 7.
The lucky ticket was one of at least three winning Powerball tickets claimed in metro Atlanta from July to October, according to data from the Georgia Lottery Corp. The lottery provided data on prizes more than $600.
At least $107.8 million in prize money was claimed in Georgia during that time.
