Water main replacements to affect Atlanta traffic

Atlanta issued a traffic advisory for Monday, Feb. 25 through Friday, March 1. Water mains will be replaced and are expected to affect traffic at various locations. The locations are Metropolitan Parkway SW between Deckner Avenue and Claire Drive, Flora Avenue NE between Hardee Street and LaFrance Street and Linwood Avenue NE between North Avenue and Williams Mill Road. Contractors will install new water mains at the listed locations, reducing traffic by one lane. Motorists are urged to use alternate routes whenever possible.
