Now the developers reimagining the area around the former Turner Field have a new animation to show what the parking lots surrounding Georgia State Stadium could look like in the years ahead.

The animation shows the development as a new gateway to downtown Atlanta, with student housing, apartments, townhouses, loft offices, retail and restaurants. The video made its debut during Thursday’s inaugural game for the Georgia State Panthers at their new home stadium.

A development team led by Atlanta-based Carter walked The Atlanta Journal-Constitution through what they plan in their first phase of development. Click here to check it out.
