A Raisin in the Sun to open at CAU Thursday night

The Clark Atlanta University’s Department of Speech Communication & Theatre Arts will open Lorraine Hansberry’s “A Raisin in the Sun,” at 7:30 p.m. Thursday night in the Davage Auditorium in Haven-Warren Hall on campus.

CAU is partnering with the Fair Housing and Equal Opportunity (FHEO) office of the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development on the production.

The Tony Award-winning play, which deals with tough family issues, as well with discriminatory practices in homeownership, will run through Saturday night.
