Powder Springs to vote Monday on code replacement

The Powder Springs City Council is expected to vote next week on extensive code changes, totaling 640 pages, to replace its Unified Development Code in its entirety.

The meeting will be 7 p.m. Monday, Nov. 16, in the Council Chambers, Community Development building, 4488 Pineview Drive.

These “significant” and “extensive” rewrites of 24 articles may be found at cityofpowdersprings.org/719/Unified-Development-Code-Update, said the city’s Community Development Director Tina Garver.
