The Powder Springs Planning and Zoning Commission has set a hearing on Unified Development Code amendments 7:30 p.m. Monday at the Municipal Court building, 4483 Pineview Drive due to continuing renovations of the Council Chambers in the Community Development building, 4488 Pineview Drive.
Changes concern use of land and structures, landscaping, buffers and tree conservation, procedures and permits.
Also, a public hearing on the 2015 Planning and Zoning Calendar will be held by the commission.
City council will follow with public hearings 7 p.m. Jan. 5 to consider the code changes and the calendar, also in the Municipal Court building.
Before this meeting, though, the city council will hold its agenda meeting at 5 p.m. Dec. 30, instead of Dec. 31, in the second floor conference room, City Hall, 4484 Marietta St.
Anyone wanting to speak at a Powder Springs public hearing must disclose campaign contributions to the Community Development Department five days before the hearing.
