The Hall County Sheriff’s Office is asking the public for help solving a year-old murder.
Wayne Adam Shaw, 22, was found shot to death at his Gainesville home during the early morning hours of June 15, 2012, Hall County Sheriff’s Sgt. Stephen Wilbanks said.
Shaw had been shot three months earlier at his home, but survived.
“Shaw reported that he was approached by two unknown black males brandishing handguns and demanding money,” Wilbanks said. “When he turned to flee, the subjects began firing at him, striking him one time in the upper back.”
Wilbanks said it is not clear if the two shootings were connected.
