New sidewalk for Hurt Road in south Cobb
A new sidewalk will be built on the south side of Hurt Road in south Cobb, starting this month. Carolyn Cunningham for the AJC
Beginning this month, a five-foot-wide sidewalk will be constructed on the south side of Hurt Road in south Cobb.
The sidewalk will extend from Merry Oak Road east for around 2,000 linear feet to connect with the existing sidewalk at Light of Hope Presbyterian Church.
A 10-foot-wide urban shoulder with 24-inch curb and gutter and a two-foot-wide grass strip will be constructed throughout the entire project.
