Anglers may appreciate 15 new Mossback fish attractors recently placed at five locations in the McKaskey Creek area of Allatoona Lake.

The multi-pronged devices were placed by members of the E3 Bassmasters Club, Wildlife Resources Division of the Georgia Department of Natural Resources, and the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers.

"Bass, bream and crappie are expected to make good use of these structures during different times of the year," the Wildlife Resources Division said in a Facebook posting. "The fish attractors were purchased by the E3 Bassmasters using grant funds awarded them by Forty Creek Distillers earlier this year."

Allatoona Lake is an 11,860-acre impoundment of the Etowah River managed by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers in Cherokee and Bartow counties. To locate fish attractors and for more information about fishing on the lake: http://bit.ly/2IIMi0O
